Thought I would start a blog on old family postcards.These are lept in a shoebox and some go back over 60 years.

They become  records as well as commenteries of the time lived in and show how much the wolrd has changed,I hasten to add I was nit born when this postcard was sent,which looking at the postmark is dated 5th August 1953.

A postcard can be a jumping off point,who sent it/who recieved?

The postcards in the shoebox are mainly from around  Britain, so it will become a geographical tour as well
